Description

Applicaster, the tech platform behind Sony Pictures, Walt Disney, Kan11, and FC Barcelona apps, is
looking for an industry-savvy business development executive to lead our global partnership strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of the OTT and streaming media markets and should be
able to demonstrate a combination of strategic thinking and; planning with hands-on execution capabilities.


This role's primary responsibilities and KPIs are focused on partner acquisition and development
worldwide. You will be reporting to and working with the CEO and the commercial team to expand our
partner network and create the operational framework & programs to make it thrive.

Title: VP
Reporting to: CEO

Role scope: a partner hunter, farmer, and thinker, all in one 

  • Structure and run company’s partner program as a strategic growth driver. 
  • Map potential partners per segment and region 
  • Directly engage in partner acquisition & support regional leaders through corresponding efforts.
  • Structure joint business cases and lead contractual negotiations.
  • Support commercial and technical onboarding process. 
  • Drive partner development activities: sales enablement, marketing, pipeline development, regular reviews

Profile requirements: 5+ years of hands-on BD experience 

  • Comprehensive industry knowledge - OTT, streaming media & video platforms 
  • Global BD experience, operating across multiple markets. 
  • Experience acquiring new partners, from targeting to onboarding. 
  • Experience building and running a partner program.
  • Strong technical orientation  
  • English level - 9.5+ both written and spoken; highly articulate. 
  • A relentless “hunter” with a clear sales mind & skillset
