The procurement team manages non-publisher third party vendors on behalf of the company, working closely with global business stakeholders, Legal, Finance and leadership to create value.
Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, this role will lead non-IT (indirects) categories and develop stakeholder relationships and purchasing strategies. Category ownership may include, based on experience:
Marketing
HR
Professional Services
Facilities
Travel
Meetings & Events
This role will own all vendor agreements and purchasing procedures for their designated spend area
This role will interface with key business partners and management in Marketing, HR, Finance and Legal
Must be willing to work later hours to overlap with US time zone e.g. evenings at least twice per week
A day in the life
Guide the company throughout the Procure to Pay process including Sourcing, Contracting, Opening Purchase Requests, and matching Payments
Troubleshoot Procure to Pay issues on a daily basis, working closely with Legal, Accounting, FP&A, Treasury and AP
Design purchasing strategy through Coupa P2P system and guide end users through the request to payments process in Coupa, as well as legacy offline processes (Netsuite)

Develop on-going category strategy for non-IT (Marketing, HR, etc.) categories
Maintain spend category profile
Foster stakeholder relationships and develop pipeline
Proactively understand business partner vendor needs, work together to build constant improvement processes, measure SLA’s and improve customer experience
Support all ad-hoc contracting requests, manage renewals, and monitor contracting needs
Review and redline contracts for financial and commercial risks
Fully understand commercial agreements, including impact of commercial terms and required escalation points to Privacy, Security and Legal
Accurately identify best contract templates to use in each situation
Quickly process high volume of quick-turn marketing agreements, balancing fast service on simple agreements with escalation of large risks
Negotiate commercial and payment terms
Streamline inefficient contracting issues; identify vendor MSA and consolidation opportunities
Conduct and own individual sourcing projects from beginning to end including:
Create baselines from diverse and incomplete data sets
Work with stakeholders in the business function, Finance, Legal and other areas to gather category information
Create project teams and project management documents
Opportunity assessments and benchmark analysis
Determine sourcing strategy including RFP, RFI, multi-supplier quote, incumbent negotiations
Create and manage the Go-To-Market strategy including advising stakeholders on competitive sourcing vs. incumbent negotiations
Analyze sourcing results including scenario analysis
Define and report savings to Finance and management
Contribute to a global team including:
Contribute to standardized savings reporting and management reports
Help build, align and teach global purchasing standards
What you’ll bring
3-5 Years in a relevant Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Purchasing roleFluent in English, with ability to balance global and local requirements Strategic mindset with desire to drive efficiencies and solve problems
Contracting experience with standard legal templates, redlining protocol, understanding all aspects of business agreements
Experience with P2P systems, particularly Coupa
Excel and Powerpoint expertise
Non-IT Category experience, particularly Marketing agreements including sponsorships, events, media buys, and subscriptions
Excellent project management skills
