Senior Manual QA Engineer

About the Role:

ionir is looking for a top talent who can combine creative thinking, technical understanding of highly complex system, and a strong understanding of user behavior.

Responsibilities:

• Work with complex architecture of a micro-service, container based data management system.
• Be responsible for all quality aspects lifecycle starting form understanding and gathering of product requirements and ending at tracking and owning feature status and maturity.
• Become the quality advocate inside the scrum team, working closely with our developers, DevOps, automation & product teams.
• Write and execute manual and scripted test plans to meet release quality criteria.
• Investigate, debug and document defects of complexed micro-service container based system with running in cloud environment.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of proven experience in QA methodologies and test cycles.
• 3+ years focusing in the core and back-end of a Linux based product.
• Experience in Linux operation system.
• Ability to script (Bash, Python, Java, etc.)
• Strong debugging and monitoring skills.
• Working with QA methodologies, design and plan of STP, STD & STR using Jira.
• Prioritize and translate test plans and cases for automation to code.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness.
