Outbrain is seeking a consultative and strategic Partner Manager for a 10 month maternity leave contract, with the potential of becoming permanent.

 

Based out of Sydney, you will work closely with the APAC Partner Management team to ensure our publisher business in Australia and New Zealand is running smoothly and accounts are performing to their full potential. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, consulting regularly with clients, monitoring and analysing data, communicating performance trends internally & externally and formulating and executing optimisation plans.

 

The ideal candidate is organised, analytical, possesses excellent communication skills, is happy to take initiative and work independently, and has a background in Account Management, Business Development or Client Services.

 

A day in the life

 

  • Build and manage a portfolio of accounts and be responsible for developing the success of partnerships
  • Pre-sales - assist Business Development team in their efforts to win new business i.e. act as technical advisor and implementation specialist 
  • Post-sales - On-boarding of the various Outbrain Services with new partners, accurately monitor performance and identify risks and opportunities, upsell new features/ products and optimisations to partners in order to maximise revenue and/or engagement, conduct quarterly client reviews, communicate trends internally and externally

 

 

What you’ll bring

 

  • 3+ years relevant industry experience
  • Ability and desire to interface with clients both remotely and face to face to provide timely, consistent and accurate support and account management
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship building skills
  • Ability to interpret data and trends to derive valuable insights and make recommendations - excel is your friend!
  • Possess a knowledge of technology and the online advertising & media landscape. Online ad technology experience is a plus
  • Ability to build and manage an optimisation pipeline
  • Existing ANZ publisher relationships a plus
  • Some travel may be required and meetings with international offices may occur outside of standard work hours.
