We are looking for a No Fault Specialist here at INSHUR, working on a platform which covers all territories including the UK, New York and new US States and European countries as we expand.

Reporting to the No-Fault Team Leader, you'll be joining a friendly team of 10 who believe in providing our customers with the best service possible whilst always pushing for new ideas and innovation, and a global team of 80+ people, based in UK, US, and the Netherlands, who value:

What you'll do

As one of our No-Fault Specialists you will be responsible for handling our New York No-Fault claims with an understanding of the regulations in New York in relation to the guidelines. You will also be responsible for handling No-Fault Litigation, Arbitrations and Loss Transfer claims.

We don’t have a checklist of skills - our recruitment is much more around aptitude and passion so don’t worry if you’ve not used a particular tool or checked off all the skills and experience listed below. However, we think the below would make you successful in this role.


We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Have plenty of previous insurance experience including experience in New York No-Fault handling
  • Hold one of the following New York Independent Adjuster Licenses: NY-IA 17-63, NY-IA 17-70 or NY-IA 17-72
  • Understand New York No-Fault claim handling within the guidelines set forth in New York Regulation 68: No-Fault Regulations; New York Regulation 64: Unfair Claim Settlement Practices
  • Are familiar with New York Workers Compensation laws and how Workers Compensation affects New York No-Fault claims
  • Know what it takes to help customers in adverse situations

Our budget for this role is $60,000-70,000 and we will take into account your previous experience and location of work when agreeing on the final offer.

We are based in and around NYC area but currently work 100% remote. Post-pandemic we will be likely transitioning to a hybrid office and home-based model with travel for onsite meetings at least once a month.
