The Data Science Recommendations team at Lightricks builds personalization, recommendations and search solutions for our products. .To achieve this we conduct applied research in multiple Machine Learning areas, such as computer vision, natural language processing, reinforcement learning and recommender systems. Our models are integrated into lightricks products and enhance the experience of millions of users.

What you will be doing

• Conduct independent applied research to drive recommendations and search algorithms in our products. 
• Be responsible for the entire algorithmic lifecycle in an end-to-end fashion, starting at data collection and analysis, through prototyping to writing and owning production models and code.
• Work with unique data spanning multiple domains such as images, video, audio and text.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers and analysts to integrate and evaluate the algorithms you create.

Your skills and experience

• M.Sc or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or any of the related fields from a top tier university.
• 3+ years of machine learning research experience, preferably in search and recommendations,  with a track record of delivering quality results.
• Experience in successfully applying machine learning to real-world problems.
• Excellent software engineering skills, experience with Python and SQL. 
• Great at problem solving.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
