The VP Engineering role is based in our UK offices, London, where the development of Photoleap (both iOS & Android) takes place. We’re looking for a seasoned manager to lead 3 core teams (Editor, Growth & Android) while being a part of the CTO management group and reporting directly to Lightricks’ co-founder and CTO, Yaron Inger.
What will you be doing?
- Lead our Photoleap Product from London UK, alongside the VP Product and the Product Marketing Manager.
- Deliver state of the art generative AI into the hands of millions around the world. You will build the tech beast behind a marvelous product that generates innovation, creativity and truly beautiful works of digital art.
- Own the overall tech team performance, code excellence and deliverables, while providing feedback and mentorship to guide your direct reports with their software engineering quests.
- Team up with the CTO group as a contributing & empowering member of the whole Tech organization leadership at Lightricks.
Your skills and experience
- Proven track record of leading iOS and Android engineering teams while inspiring innovation and pushing the limits of what's possible on mobile platforms.
- Hands on experience; when needed, eagerness & ability to dig deep into the codebase to help solve challenging software problems.
- Willingness to spend time in Jerusalem, Israel (HQ) on a quarterly basis.
- Excitement about the Photoleap product, coupled with the ability to stay grounded in reality and operate under varying business constraints.
- Hebrew speaking skills are a great advantage as both the direct manager for this position, and his management team, are located in Israel.
- Experience leading web teams is another great advantage.
