OPERATIONS MANAGER - US SUPPLY CHAIN AND PROCUREMENT

Summary

We're looking for an experienced operations professional to develop and execute a global expansion strategy, including identification of end-to-end needs (production facilities, fulfillment centers, shipping partners, etc) in key expansion markets. You will play an important role in creating, building and maintaining Maapilim’s supply chain relationships, operations, processes, and product development activities.

What You'll Do

• Execute an inventory, warehousing, and procurement strategy to ensure scalability and support 
• growth plans
• Source suppliers, negotiate costs and terms and maintain supplier relationships
• Perform cost-benefit analyses to make informed decisions about materials and suppliers
• Oversee all global shipping and ensure on time delivery at designated locations
• Negotiate air and sea freight with freight forwarders

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain management, or related field, preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
• Demonstrated proficiency with production planning 
• Experience in cosmetics companies is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
• Curious, motivated to learn, and thrives in a rapidly changing environment
• Problem solver with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Collaborative mindset with strength in effectively receiving and communicating feedback
• Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
• Experience working with eCommerce platforms
