As a dynamic company and leader in the field of cross border payment solutions - Payoneer is looking for a Regional Director/Head of Operations, to lead various operations teams located in New York, NY to excel the delivery services to our customers in the Americas region. This position carries ultimate responsibility for leading teams managing the day-to-day operations and services for our customers and business.

What you’ll do:

  • Synchronizing between the different operations teams in the local hub, aligning the global teams around new products, clients, services, regulations & compliance to support our customers in better customer experience and SLAs.
  • Driving operational excellence of the captioned functions, by leading and carrying initiatives to optimize internal efficiency and SLA performance of each function
  • Managing the outsource vendor relationship and overseeing their performance both in quality and quantity, (including budget and growth).
  • The ability to enhance the local operational knowledge to implement better global solutions to improve the effectiveness and quality of service.
  • Leading the teams’ efforts to support the market needs and enhancements across regions, act as a strong enabler for the regional sales team to achieve committed sales target
  • Being the focal point for alignment, communication and escalation to increase the operations scalability for both the business and operations internally.
  • Building the right culture, creating a sense of belonging, providing knowledge and skills learning paths to the regional Ops team
  • Providing leadership and mentorship to the managed functions team leaders.   

What we’re looking for:

  • Energetic, motivated self-starter who can learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and thrives on customer delivery
  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10 years proven track record in leading international operational teams is a MUST
  • High level of competency (organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills) with detailed-oriented mindset.
  • Experience working in a matrix reporting structure
  • The ability to work with all teams globally, including sales, finance, marketing, risk and compliance
  • Creative skills with the ability to be independent and the strive for excellence in a changing environment
  • Excellent communication (presentation, written and oral) skills
  • Multi-tasking skills and quick learner 
  • Willingness to work extended hours to support global customers if needed

This role will be based in our New York, NY office on a hybrid reporting basis 2+ days per week

Not required, but preferred:

  • Experience in the Payments and Banking industry
  • Industry exposure across e-commerce and digital services
  • Experience in leading operations team in fintech or financial services 
  • Experience with data analytics & BI tools

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to: experience, education, professional licenses, location and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid-time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave. This position is also eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.

The annual base salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $200,000.
