About The Position
We are seeking a talented junior Cloud Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Analyst, you will play a role in optimizing our cloud infrastructure by analyzing cloud costs, creating reports, and utilizing observability tools. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our continued growth and success in the ever-evolving world of cloud computing.
Responsibilities
- Analyze Cloud Costs: Monitor and analyze the cloud costs across multiple platforms, services, and providers. Identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Create Reports: Develop comprehensive reports and visualizations to provide insights into cloud usage, costs, performance, and efficiency. Present findings and recommendations to the cloud team
- Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including cloud architects, developers, and finance teams, to understand their requirements and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making processes.
- Cloud Governance: Contribute to the development and implementation of cloud governance policies and best practices to ensure compliance, security, and efficient resource utilization.
Requirements
- BA student of Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Basic understanding of cloud computing principles, architectures, and services.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and accountability for achieving results.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Eager to become a data analysis and use visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Grafana, Power BI) to create insightful reports and dashboards.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals are a plus.
- The work requires at least 3 days working availability a week (at least 60% employment)
